CDA Collaborative, a Boston-based non-profit aimed at promoting a more socially responsible humanitarian practice, released a paper to illustrate how the business sector can contribute positively to peace efforts. Working with Sarah Cechvala of CDA Collaborative is Mia Quiaoit-Corpus, the Executive Director of The Conflict Resolution Group Foundation, Inc. The paper illustrates the story of Unifrutti Tropical Philippines Inc (UTPI), a company that has boldly chosen to invest in Mindanao bringing much needed development to its host communities. Through its values-based approach to management and community relations, the company has made itself a powerful advocate of peace across Mindanao.
